THIS WEEK'S HIGHLIGHTS @ THIRD EYE COMICS!

MARVEL ZOMBIES 3 #1 MUNCHES ITS WAYS INTO STORES THIS WEDNESDAY! AND IT'S REALLY GOOD!

After having read the newest Marvel Zombies last night, I have to say, it's REALLY good. I wasn't too impressed with the last series they did, but, this new one is probably my favorite one yet. It's at least on the same level as the first Marvel Zombies series. Fans of Nextwave, get Machine Man in all his human-hating glory, paired with Jocasta, and sent from OUR world (where the zombie infection has started to spread in a all too familiar swamp) into the Marvel Zombieverse to be the robotic saviors of humanity. Written by Fred Van Lente, the talented creator behind one of our Marvel favorites (Incredible Hercules), this new Marvel Zombies definitely delivers. Click here to read more!

When the super-undead stumble into the MU from the Man-Thing's Nexus of All Realities, all of Florida is quarantined against the zombie plague. Time is quickly running out for a cure, so the Initiative sends a most unlikely group of heroes into the Zombieverse on a desperate mission to find the one item they need before the whole MU is consumed! The scream team of Fred Van Lente (INCREDIBLE HERCULES) and Kev Walker (ANNIHILATION: NOVA) unite for a Marvel Zombies story like you've never seen before!

GARTH ENNIS, WRITER OF THE BOYS, DEBUTS HIS MOST TWISTED SERIES YET WITH THIS WEDNESDAY'S CROSSED #1!

Starting this Wednesday with issue #1, we're set to get what the infamous writer behind the mega-hot Boys, and the legendary Preacher series, calls his most twisted story yet. And if you've read The Boys, Preacher, Punisher MAX, or anything else by Mr. Ennis, you know it's gotta be pretty friggin' twisted to outsick those biggies! From what I can gather in the interview that Ennis did about Crossed, it's basically his take on the age-old Zombie story scenario. However, this time around, they're not quite zombies... it's an infection, yes, transmitted through bodily fluids that basically turns off any morality in the infectee and reduces them to an evil, sadistic killing machine. Unlike zombies though, they can think, they can plan, and they can move. You can't just trick them up the escalator and shoot 'em in the head. And at the center of it all, is a small group of individuals who are just trying to survive in this crazy world. This 9 issue miniseries from one of the most entertaining writers in the field today looks to deliver the goods! Click here to read a CBR article about this exciting new series!

FINAL CRISIS REVELATIONS #3 - THE ANTILIFE EQUATION INFECTS BATWOMAN!

The Anti-Life Equation has unleashed havoc on the DCU, and in Revelations #3, we get to see the Anti-Life Equation turn everyone into coldblooded Darkseid-worshipping killers! Now, I have to say that the Final Crisis tie-ins have ALL been really good, but I'm especially enjoying all the craziness of Revelations with Batwoman, The Question, and the Spectre. It's cool to see the legacies of the new incarnations of these characters being built, and while in most big events, the tie-ins aren't exactly necessary, I have found that in Final Crisis, these are really helping make sense of the entire story. KICK ASS - ALL FOUR ISSUES BACK IN PRINT! IF YOU'RE NOT READING THIS AMAZING SERIES, NOW IS YOUR CHANCE TO JUMP ON!

Kick Ass is the most fun I have reading comics every month. While there might be titles I enjoy a little bit more, and there might be titles that I think have a better overall story... Kick Ass is just plain fun! I'm addicted, and man, I wish #5 would hurry up and come out! Well, folks, for those of you who missed it the first time around, and then missed it the second time around, and then missed it the third time around with the Must-Have... now's your chance to hop on one of the best comics we're reading here at Third Eye. We're going to have plenty of all the issues in stock this Wednesday, so if you want to give this great title a shot, we got you covered. What's the story about Kick Ass? A teenage comic fan decides to give the vigilante thing a shot, he buys a wetsuit on eBay, goes out, and gets his ass beaten mercilessly. After 6 months in the hospital, he comes back out... and goes out to do it again, this time he manages to somehow luck out and get the upperhand. The crowds watching record this on their cell phones and upload it to YouTube... and then voila, an Internet star is born (dubbed KICK ASS). He starts up a myspace page to help reach out to people... and is STILL getting his butt handed to him on the regular, and then when things look bleak... well, just read it to find out! They've already got a movie (with McLovin from Superbad) in the works! Click here to read more about KICK ASS!
