godzillathirdeyebig

This Wednesday, Third Eye Faithful, we're inviting you to take part in a little piece of comic history as the original King of Monsters makes his comic book return with IDW's GODZILLA KINGDOM OF MONSTERS #1.

Now, not only are we stoked about this series because of obvious reasons (hint, look at the cover.:) ), but also because of the fact that it's being written by the one, the only, ERIC POWELL, of THE GOON. If there's anyone who knows how to take the sheer larger-than-life, giant monster kaiju big battle mayhem of Godzilla and the rest of the Toho monsters and make it work on the four color page, then it's Eric Powell. He's already shown us what he's capable with the Goon, so it's no secret that we're stoked to see this one.

And, then there's that other thing: we're on the cover! Yes, IDW worked with us (in addition to a very select handful of other comic book stores nationwide) to deliver a very special, exclusive to our store only cover of GODZILLA KINGDOM OF MONSTERS #1 featuring our storefront being stepped on by Godzilla. We're extremely stoked about this, and you can snag yourself this piece of Third Eye history for a meager $3.99 this Wednesday!

Wanna snag yourself a copy, and show your support, Third Eye Faithful? Pop on by this Wednesday for GODZILLA DAY at Third Eye!

ENTER TO WIN A ONE-OF-A-KIND HAND-SKETCHED GODZILLA: KINGDOM OF MONSTERS #1 VARIANT by GOON creator ERIC POWELL WHEN YOU PURCHASE YOUR GODZILLA KINGDOM OF MONSTERS #1 this Wednesday

We'll be hosting a special prize drawing for one of the hand-sketched ERIC POWELL variants of KINGDOM OF MONSTERS #1. This is a PERSONALIZED, HAND-DRAWN cover EXCLUSIVE to our shop, and is a very cool little item to add to your collection. We'll only have a couple of these, and to one lucky Third Eye Faithful, we'll be putting one of these in their hands.

We'll also be hosting a very special, one-day MONSTER sale, where if you purchase a copy of GODZILLA KINGDOM OF MONSTERS #1, you'll be valid to receive 15% off ANY (excluding this week's new releases) GRAPHIC NOVEL of your choosing!

KICK-ASS 2 #2 ARRIVES THIS WEDNESDAY AFTER MUCH ANTICIPATION! THE SECOND ISSUE OF MARK MILLAR'S ULTRA-VIOLENT REAL WORLD SAGA OF MASKED CRIME-FIGHTERS CONTINUES!

Never read the first KICK-ASS? Snag the HARDCOVER this WEDNESDAY!

kickass22
Here it is, Third Eye Faithful! One of the comics you've been eagerly awaiting for months, and I have to tell you: it's worth the wait. The second issue of Millar's sequel to his ultra-violent saga of real worled masked vigilantes is freakin' incredible, dripping in gore, and delivering the same kind of punchy, dark humor that made the first series such an awesome read.

If you're not already familiar with the world of KICK-ASS, then here's the scoop... you've got this teenage kid who is a huge comic book fan, and gets it in his head to step up, be something better, and after buying a wetsuit on eBay and going out to fight crime, he ends up getting crippled and put into the hospital. Of course, he can't stop himself, and after his recovery, he's back out there again, but this time, he manages to get lucky and not get his butt kicked. And, there's a crowd of folks watching, video-taping it on their cell phones, uploading to Youtube, and turning him into the viral sensation KICK-ASS. From there, you're taken into an interesting world of people who're disenfranchised with themselves, and the world around them, and have decided to take inspiration from their comic book heroes, and make the world a better place.

And, I'll stop there, because I don't want to give away too much of the plot of the first series. In this sequel, we're now living in a world where KICK-ASS has literally inspired hundreds of masked crimefighters. Some of them are inept, some of them are actually very good at what they do. And, with the good, comes the bad... yes, in addition to the masked crime-fighters, he's inspired a legion of masked bad guys who, for whatever reason, have seen fit to turn themselves into super-villains.

Of course, this is all set in the confines of the real world, so the violence is sickeningly visceral, and the good guy doesn't always win.

One more note for those of you who haven't yet read KICK-ASS in comic form... if you've seen the movie, and not read the book, you're missing out. The movie is decent, but the book is a thousand times better. There's a much more interesting, darker, and nihilistic streak that runs through the comics, and we really feel that's what makes them pop and come off so unique.

Wanna get started? Haven't read the series at all? Pick up the first graphic novel collecting the entire run of KICK-ASS, we've got plenty of copies in stock.

Wanna hop onto KICK-ASS 2? We've got copies of issue #1 in stock to get you all caught up to this week's issue #2.

THE WAR OF THE GREEN LANTERNS CONTINUES THIS WEDNESDAY WITH IT'S THIRD CHAPTER IN GREEN LANTERN: EMERALD WARRIORS #8

glemeraldwarriors8
We were floored with how awesome WAR OF THE GREEN LANTERNS kicked off last week in GREEN LANTERN #54 *CHAPTER 1* and GREEN LANTERN CORPS #58 *CHAPTER 2*, and so you can only imagine how excited we are to catch the third chapter this Wednesday in GREEN LANTERN EMERALD WARRIORS #8!

As you may have already guessed from the cover image, this week we're going to see the showdown that's been teased for quite some time now with Guy Gardner and Hal Jordan coming face to face as the tensions between the factions of the GREEN LANTERN CORPS rise.

WAR OF THE GREEN LANTERNS is the culmination of many plotlines that Geoff Johns has set up, and is so far looking to deliver a storyline every bit as epic as Geoff Johns's SINESTRO CORPS WAR.

Missed out on the earlier chapters? We've got both the prologue issues, GREEN LANTERN EMERALD WARRIORS #7, and GREEN LANTERN #63 in stock now, as well as GREEN LANTERN #64 *CHAPTER ONE* and GREEN LANTERN CORPS #58 *CHAPTER TWO*, so you can still get caught up pretty easily in time for this week's CHAPTER 3 in EMERALD WARRIORS #8.

Must-read stuff, folks, we can't recommend WAR OF THE GREEN LANTERNS enough!

BUTCHER BAKER THE RIGHTEOUS MAKER #1 DEBUTS THIS WEDNESDAY - IMAGINE IF "THE COMEDIAN" from WATCHMEN had his own series! FANS OF "THE BOYS", and "IRREDEEMABLE", take note of this one!
IMAGE COMICS brings us another smash hit red hot title with BUTCHER BAKER!
butcherbaker
Here's one that we saw a few months ago in the Previews catalog, and got some advance pages of, and were totally blown away by.

It's no secret that IMAGE COMICS has been on a roll for the last few years, putting out smash hits that go to second printings almost immediately, and not only do they become sought-after titles, but they deliver a damn fine story as well. It's the perfect recipe for exciting and innovative new series.

This is a new series that will appeal in a big way to fans of stuff like THE BOYS, BRAT PACK, IRREDEEMABLE, and even WATCHMEN. If you like a darker take on the world of superheroes, then BUTCHER BAKER looks to be the next step in terms of titles that take the envelope, and not only push it, but totally tear it to shreds. And, we're stoked about it, 'cause lets face it: we love comics with a deranged sense of humor to them, and Butcher Baker definitely has that.

Writer Joe Casey describes Butcher Baker as a twisted, mature readers, epic tale of deranged superfiction and two-lane blacktop mayhem. Imagine if THE COMEDIAN from WATCHMEN was given his own comic series, and found himself being hired by Dick Cheney and Bill Clinton, to sort out problems after spending years in retirement partying it up, and not giving a damn about anything or anyone.

In the words of the series writer, Butcher Baker is not for the faint of heart, it's a sleazy, mature reader's superhero book abouit a semi-retired 'patriotic-themed' superhero who gets the call for one last adventure. Totally ultra-violent, and totally over-the-top, we're telling you now that BUTCHER BAKER is going to be one of the biggest books of the Summer, and we can't wait to sit down and read the first issue this Wednesday.

AVENGERS DOUBLE-SHOT THIS WEDNESDAY WITH AVENGERS #11 & SECRET AVENGERS #11 - TWO OF MARVEL'S TOP TITLES IN THE SAME WEEK!

avengers11
The Infinity Gauntlet resides now in the hands of one of the Marvel Universe's most dangerous human beings: THE HOOD, and now, in this penultimate chapter of the second arc of Marvel's blockbuster flagship title, the AVENGERS must pull out all the stops to retrieve the Gauntlet from THE HOOD.

Have you been reading AVENGERS? If you haven't, we highly recommend it, folks. This is a fantastic series, which never fails to disappoint. Brian Michael Bendis and John Romita JR deliver some of the biggest, most action-packed superhero storytelling you could want in each and every issue of the series, and ever since they begun the current arc where the Red Hulk joined the team, and the AVENGERS began the hunt for an Infinity Gauntlet-wielding Hood, we've been hooked.

Wanna hop onto the flagship title of the Marvel U, and get the full scoop on why we're so stoked about the series? We've got the entire run in stock and available now, from issue #1 up to this week's #11, hop on and find out why this is one of the best Marvel titles on the stands. Heck, the first arc alone delivered some serious precursor revelations in regards to the upcoming FEAR ITSELF event.

secretavengers11
Now, SECRET AVENGERS, is yet another fantastic Marvel series that's got us hooked here at Third Eye, and not only do we get the 11th issue of the flagship AVENGERS title, but we also get the 11th issue of my own personal favorite, SECRET AVENGERS.

I gotta tell you, folks, Brubaker brings a very cool, psychotronic kind of vibe to the world of the SECRET AVENGERS, and I'm totally in love with it. This espionage, black ops AVENGERS team handles most of the stuff the Marvel Universe is not SUPPOSED to know about, and the fact that the team roster contains such a diverse mix of characters, is just half the fun. Brubaker writes this one perfectly, and the art is always top notch.

This week in SECRET AVENGERS #11, the mysteries of John Steele and the Shadow Council are revealed as we see a very special look back to Cap's WORLD WAR 2 days, in addition to some major events happening with the SECRET AVENGERS in the here and now.

IMAGE DEBUTS ANOTHER SLEEPER HIT THIS WEDNESDAY WITH THE FIRST ISSUE OF UNDYING LOVE - A SUPERNATURAL CRIME NOIR THAT'S ONE HALF VAMPIRE MYTHOLOGY, ONE HALF CHINESE FOLKLORE, SET AGAINST THE BACKDROP OF MODERN DAY HONG KONG!

From the artist of 5 RONIN: WOLVERINE

It's like a JOHN WOO movie with Vampires! Hong Kong Action At It's Best!

undyinglove1
Here's another Image title that I caught some early buzz on, and almost immediately fell in love with after looking at the gorgeous artwork, and reading a few pages of the killer concept that creative team Tomm Coker and Daniel Freedman had come up with.

This is a brutal, unrelenting action-packed crime-noir that's steeped in supernatural trappings. We're talking some seriously vicious vampire mythology mixed with Chinese folklore, and set against the backdrop of modern day Hong Kong. The story centers around ex-soldier John Sargent, and how he's fallen for a beautiful chinese woman named Mei. The only thing keeping the star-crossed lovers apart? Mei's a vampire. To free Mei from the curse, Sarget sets out to destroy the vampire who made her... and, the problem with that? Mei was created by one of the most powerful vampires in world history.

From there we're taken on a stylized, blood-soaked, bullet-sprayed tour of modern day Hong Kong, and the underworld of vampires that exist beneath the surface of the every day world.

This one is looking to be a damn good read, folks, and we're stoked to see it in person this Wednesday.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #657 *FF TIE-IN* - SEE THE ISSUE WHERE SPIDEY IS INVITED TO JOIN THE FUTURE FOUNDATION, AND THE DEBUT OF HIS NEW COSTUME!

amazingspiderman657

Folks, you don't need me to tell you how damn good Spider-man has gotten as a series in the last year. Dan Slott's new direction for the webhead has given us some of the best Spiderman we've read in AGES, and the memory of ONE MORE DAY/BRAND NEW DAY is pretty much almost gone now.

And, there's no issue more perfect than to give the Wallcrawler a try again, than this week's AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #657. This heart-warming tie-in to FF #1/DEATH OF HUMAN TORCH, is fantastic read, and a fantastic example of just how great Spidey has gotten.

It's also a key issue in the run, showing us where Spidey's not only invited to the very private Wake of the Human Torch, but is also recruited to join the Future Foundation, and from what we're thinking, the official debut of his FF duds in his own series.

Snag this one on Wednesday, whether you're reading FF, and loving it, or if you're just looking to hop back on with Spidey again, we think you'll be impressed.

DETECTIVE COMICS #875 - JOCK RETURNS, AS SCOTT SNYDER BEGINS HIS STORY ARC ON DETECTIVE COMICS WITH THE 3-PART "HUNGRY CITY"

Jump on with this new arc, and find out why DETECTIVE COMICS has become one of the BEST Bat-titles on the stands!

Or go back and snag #871 and up, to catch upon Snyder's run from the start

DETECTIVECOMICS875

We're huge fans of Scott Snyder's work on DETECTIVE COMICS so far, and it looks like his next arc, HUNGRY CITY, is going to prove to be no exception to the level of quality he's demonstrated thus far. And, the fact that Jock is once again joining him on art chores, is even radder. We love the pairing of these two, and cannot wait to see what's coming next as this new arc gears up with the corpse of a killer whale showing up on the floor of one of Gotham City's foremost banks.

The event begins a strange and deadly mystery that will bring Batman face-to-face with the new, terrifying faces of organized crime in Gotham City.

Folks, READ THIS BOOK! We're telling you, it takes us back to those days when we remember those dark, gritty, noir-steeped short arcs in series like SHADOWS OF THE BAT and LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT. It's just damn good storytelling, with some of the best artists in the biz bringing it to life.

We'd either recommend jumping on with this week's #875, or going back, and hopping on with #871, and working your way up to #875 from there. Either way, you will love SCOTT SNYDER'S dark take on Gotham City.

AVATAR PRESS, publishers of NEONOMICON and CROSSED, pair up with DAVID LAPHAM (Writer of CROSSED FAMILY VALUES and CROSSED PSYCHOPATH) to deliver their most violent, and depraved title yet: CALIGULA.

Pure horror set against the backdrop of the Roman Empire!

caligula1

Folks, it doesn't get much more over-the-top than the comics that AVATAR PRESS puts out. These are some of the most boundary-breaking titles on the stands, and with horror series like CROSSED, and NEONOMICON, they have dropped the jaws of Third Eye Faithful since 2008.

Now, this Wednesday, they're going to be unveiling the latest name in depravity, and horror, with their new CALIGULA series from David Lapham, writer of the infamous CROSSED series.

In the age of depravity, one man's appetites horrified the entire Roman Empire. The very Empire he ruled. Some stories are passed from one generation to the next only in secret. Told in hushed whispers as the very words are too horrific to speak aloud for fear they offend the Gods. A Roman Empire built on the blood of its people, a ruler who began as a generous man but who ended as the most debased of monarchs.

One name still speaks volumes of how absolute power can corrupt -- Caligula. David Lapham, writer of CROSSED, unveils a new tale of Caligula, he was not just a man drunk on power, he was possessed. A modern master of horror, Lapham digs deep into the world of Rome 37 AD, and offers a unique epic of horror that aims to not just raise the bar that NEONOMICON and CROSSED set, but obliterate it completely.

If you're a fan of a horror series, or just plain awesome Avatar Press comics, then you need to snag a copy of CALIGULA this Wednesday.

THE GUTTERS VOLUME 1 HARDCOVER AVAILABLE THIS WEDNESDAY AT THIRD EYE! THE HIT COMIC INDUSTRY PARODY NOW IN ONE MASSIVE TOME!

thegutters
Here's a really cool one, folks, the first ever print collection of the infamous comic industry satire, THE GUTTERS. This series has amassed a major following amongst both comics and webcomics fans, and this Wednesday, you can now sit down and read it in all it's full-color, over-the-top glory.

These hardcover collections of GUTTERS are strictly limited, and are being released directly from the folks at Blind Ferret Entertainment themselves. The print runs on these are pretty low, so while we've got a big order of these due in, it's still wise to grab your copy quick, as we're expecting this one to go out of print quick.

Plus, it's THE GUTTERS on your bookshelf. How can you go wrong?

5 RONIN #5 CONCLUDES MARVEL'S KICK-ASS RE-IMAGINING OF THE MARVEL UNIVERSE AGAINST THE BACKDROP OF FEUDAL JAPAN, AND WHERE DOES IT END? WITH DEADPOOL!

5ronin5Marvel wraps up their kick-ass "1602"-inspired re-imagining of the Marvel Universe in the age of Feudal Japan this Wednesday with 5 RONIN #5, and we're gonna let you guess where this one ends... that's right, with DEADPOOL!

5 issues, 5 heroes, one unforgettable story of the Marvel Universe's heroes and villains portrayed in a whole new light. We kicked things off with Wolverine as a wandering ronin, continued with the Hulk as a retired warrior, followed the eerily similar path of The Punisher, and then last week, got to see how Psylocke's story was in this time period as well.

Now, this Wednesday, it all comes to a conclusion as we learn what the secret behind the Merc with a Mouth is in the world of 5 RONIN.

We totally dug this entire storyline, folks, and if you happened to miss any of the issues, we recommend snagging 'em this Wednesday, as we've got the entire mini-series, 1-5 in stock and available to get you caught up.

JOSS WHEDON'S DOLLHOUSE returns this WEDNESDAY with DOLLHOUSE: EPITAPH'S #1 ONE-SHOT BRINGING US MORE OF THE POST-APOCALYPTIC WORLD THAT THE SHOW'S FINAL EPISODE PORTRAYED

dollhouseepitaphs1

You guys already knew this, but we're huge Joss Whedon fans here at Third Eye. And, just like many of you, we were bummed to see another great Whedon show, like Dollhouse, bite the dust.

But, that's what's great about the world of comics... TV ratings mean nothing, and good shows can live on. :) And, that's what we're getting this week as Joss Whedon delivers us another fix of his awesome work with the DOLLHOUSE: EPITAPH'S one-shot that follows immediately after the show's final, post-apocalyptic episode, and continues to tell the tale of three survivors in a world overcome by a devastating technological virus.

The wealthy and powerful could buy any kind of companionship at the Dollhouses, where the Rossum Corporation paid young people to have their minds wiped clean and be imprinted with computer-enhanced personalities and skills -- all according to a buyer's request. Now, teh technology has gone viral, wiping the minds of everyone it reached, turning them into mindless butchers. Those who've avoided the call must try to survive their friends and families if they hope to destroy Rossum and save the world.

A must for any self-respecting Joss Whedon fan, we're hoping that this is a sign of more to come from the Dollhouse universe!

AGE OF X UNIVERSE X #1 CONTINUES THE AGE OF X AWESOMENESS THIS WEDNESDAY - ANOTHER EXCITING CHAPTER OF AGE X THIS WEDNESDAY!

ageofxuniverse

The AGE OF X has definitely shaped up to be one of the best X-Men arcs we've read in a long time. It definitely brings back the same feeling we got when we were reading AGE OF APOCALYPSE way back in the day, and we love this whole alternate history approach to some of our favorite Marvel characters.

This week, in the AGE OF X UNIVERSE 2-parter, and the next exciting chapter of AGE OF X, we learn how the last remnants of mutantkind manage to escape the clutches of the dreaded extermination unit known as... the AVENGERS?! Behold, the merciless purge of the Children of the Atom, and the rise of Fortress X's rebel underground in the world that almost was.

What is AGE OF X ? A mysterious event that continues to be revealed as the mystery of the story unravels happens in the past, and completely changes the course of history in the Marvel Universe, creating an alternate parallel world where the X-Men never existed, and mutants were systematically wiped from the map. It's a very interesting look at all the different characters and how different things were for them in this new setting.

Wanna hop on? We've got all the chapters in stock and available now.

HALCYON #4, and HALCYON #1 & #2 BACK IN STOCK THIS WEDNESDAY AT THIRD EYE! A FASCINATING LOOK AT A WORLD WHERE THE SUPERHEROES HAVE WON, AND THERE'S NO BATTLES LEFT TO BE FOUGHT

halcyon4

Here's a series we're excited to see another issue of! And, on top of that, we've got the first two issues (both of which went out of print very quickly) back in stock for those of you who may have missed 'em!

The story of HALCYON is that of a world where the superheroes vanquished all of their foes, and crime ceased to exist. Their last super-villain was taken down, and from that point forward, the world became a utopia... and that's when things really began to fall apart for the heroes of Halcyon.

Now, in a world where their skills are no longer needed, and the only hero who is of value, is the speedster (since he can get to natural disasters as soon as they occur), the values and ethics of these bored heroes begin to erode, and their utopia becomes threatened.

An awesome read, with some really stellar artwork, we're stoked to not only see a brand new issue of the series this week, but to have more copies of 1 & 2 in stock to get you caught up.

FANTASTIC FOUR by JONATHAN HICKMAN VOL.3 TRADE PAPERBACK HITS THIS WEDNESDAY, DELIVERING THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED THIRD VOLUME OF HICKMAN'S INCREDIBLE RUN!

This is the trade that leads directly up to the DEATH OF HUMAN TORCH arc

ffbyhickman3tpb

Folks, I'm going to save my breath, 'cause you've heard me preaching the awesomeness of Hickman's FANTASTIC FOUR for ages now, and many of you discovered it for yourselves last Wednesday with FF #1.

Chances are, if you're reading this write-up, you're already well aware of how killer his run has been, and have been eagerly awaiting this one to come out since you finished the second volume of his run.

Well, this Wednesday, the third installment of Hickman's run in TPB, which also happens to be the run immediately before the big COUNTDOWN TO CASUALTY arc where Johnny Storm died, hits the shelves of Third Eye, and we can't wait for you guys to read it. It really is a high point in the run, and delivers some kick-ass storytelling.

Haven't read the Hickman stuff? Folks, all I can say is pick up the first trade, and find out for yourself why this is one of the best superhero comics on the stands. I've never been a major Fantastic Four fan, but Jonathan Hickman brings a level of mad science adventure awesomeness that no one has seen on this book since the days of Jack Kirby and Stan Lee.

Imagine Reed Richards working with a counsel of evil Reeds from other dimensions, sporting Infinity Gauntlets, slaughtering Galactus's from each reality, and then subjugating the Doctor Dooms of each reality into a slave thinkforce for their one goal: to solve everything.

Imagine hidden kingdoms, and lost worlds being discovered, as secret societies fall, and adopt members of the FF as their chosen leaders. Imagine every thing that's so weird, and so over-the-top, that it's just plain awesome, and now imagine it working in the confines of a well-done story.

Hickman's FF channels the same kind of energy as Grant Morrison's ALL-STAR SUPERMAN, and I'm telling ya, folks, I cannot recommend it enough.

MORE DARTH VADER AWESOMENESS THIS WEDNESDAY AS STAR WARS: DARTH VADER AND THE LOST COMMAND #3 CONTINUES THIS SERIES SET IN BETWEEN EPISODE III and EPISODE IV

Missed 1 and 2? We've got em in stock to catch you up!

swdarthvader3

Who doesn't love Darth Vader? I'm personally a big fan of stuff that's set in or around the original Trilogy. I'm not really big on the Clone Wars stuff, but I love stuff that takes place around the time of EPIV to EPVI, and this new series which is set after the events of Episode III, but before A NEW HOPE, is the perfect kind of SW comic, in my opinion.

We're literally getting to see the transition of Clone Troopers to Storm Troopers, the construction of the original Death Star, and of course, tons of Darth Vader, falling into his new role as the Executor of the Emperor.

Missed 1 and 2? We've got 'em in stock, check em out and get caught up this week!

WALKING DEAD #83.. NEW THIS WEEK.. NUFF SAID

walkingdead83

You know, all we can say is: it's a new issue of WALKING DEAD. And, the less we say about what's going on in these pages, well, the better, 'cause lets face it: no one wants the new issue of WALKING DEAD spoilered.

All we can say is that things just get better, and better as this series continues on. Highly recommended, folks, if you've never read WALKING DEAD, pick up the first trade paperback for just $10.. if you don't like it, I'll even give you your $ back, that's how much faith I have in how great this series is.

ULTIMATE X #4 - THE WAIT IS OVER! ART ADAMS and JEPH LOEB'S FOURTH ISSUE OF THE NEXT GENERATION OF X-MEN IN THE ULTIMATE UNIVERSE HAS ARRIVED

ultimatex4

Gotta tell you, folks, it may be late as hell, but I still think Ultimate X is full of awesome. Following in the wake of the Ultimatum, Jeph Loeb sets up an exciting, and interesting cast of new characters that are set to become the X-Men of the Ultimate Universe going forward.

But, the real draw here? Art Adams. His artwork is still some of the best in the biz, and he just gets better, and better as time goes on.

Missed the first 3? We've got em in stock to catch you up.

WOLVERINE #7 *WOLVERINE MUST DIE PART 2* - JASON AARON'S KILLER NEW ONGOING WOLVERINE SERIES CONTINUES, AS THE ULTIMATE ASSASSINATION PLAN HATCHED BY CYCLOPS TO KILL WOLVERINE CONTINUES

wolverine7

We're totally digging Jason Aaron's run on WOLVERINE in the new ongoing series that was recently launched for everyone's favorite Canadian killing machine. And, the current arc which began in WOLVERINE #6, is definitely shaping up to be a good follow up to WOLVERINE GOES TO HELL.

What's the scoop? Well, basically, Cyclops has decided a plan must be put into place to take out Wolverine if he ever goes rogue again, as he's known to do. And, part of that plan includes Namor and Magneto... and, well, with Wolverine in a frenzy, and cutting a path through all the friends he's ever had, it looks like that plan may have to go into action.

We're thinking that this arc may be leading into the much-rumored split between the X-Teams that's supposed to go down this summer.

Click here for a preview of WOLVERINE #7

THIRD EYE STAFF PICKS
Steve - HELLRAISER #1 - Okay, it was tough between this and FF, but I am a HUGE Clive Barker and HELLRAISER fan, and this new comic series is pretty much the HELLRAISER sequel I always wanted but never saw. It was a great read, and if you're a horror comic fan, you NEED this.

Trish - FABLES #102 - This series is amazing, and this issue was especially one of the best in recent memory. Really really good stuff.

TORMA - FF #1 - What an awesome start to this series. The art in this looks incredible, and the last page of the issue has me demanding #2 RIGHT NOW!!!
