THIS WEEK'S HIGHLIGHTS @ THIRD EYE FOR WEDNESDAY 6/29/11

WITCH DOCTOR #1 - THE FIRST SERIES TO LAUNCH UNDER "WALKING DEAD" & "INVINCIBLE" writer ROBERT KIRKMAN'S NEW IMAGE SKYBOUND IMPRINT!

Imagine the TV Show "HOUSE" set in a Steampunk-esque time period with LOADS OF HORROR and DR. STRANGE-style MYSTICISM

Image's Next Breakout Hit Is Here, and It Looks GREAT.

witchdoctor1

This is one of the books I am most excited about this Summer. Ever since seeing a little unassuming ashcan of the book a few months ago, I was excited to see how this one shaped up, and then last month, when WALKING DEAD #85 delivered a #0 preview in the back of WITCH DOCTOR, I could see it: Image has struck gold once again. And, in the truest sense of the word. While there's been a lot of big hits out of Image recently, WITCH DOCTOR is a different breed of animal altogether, and fits more into the category of a MORNING GLORIES or a CHEW. An unassumingly awesome concept that delivers in every way possible. I loved it.

Fantastic art, fantastic story. Lets talk about WITCH DOCTOR, and what it's all about. The story centers around Dr. Vincent Morrow, a "cunning man", as he prefers to label himself. We meet Morrow while en route to exorcise a demon from a boy, and from there, we're given a great introduction to the strange, and fascinating world of Dr. Morrow, his supporting cast, and his base of operations, the Stonebride Mental Hospital.

The first issue of this one is a strong, confident read that knows it's got chops, and reaches out grabs you, and does not let go. The characterization of Morrow's supporting cast is PERFECT, and the world-building Seifert brings to the book is evident right from the get go. Of course, Lukas Ketner is one of the driving forces responsible for making this book so enthralling with his creepy, almost Bernie Wrightson meets Tony Moore kind of artwork. Atmospheric, creepy, and downright ghastly when it wants to be, the art in WITCH DOCTOR is the perfect compliment to Seifert's outstanding story.

WITCH DOCTOR is kind of like the IMAGE COMICS treatment given to a character like Doctor Strange, or Doctor Fate. A strong, shadowy protagonist who uses mysticism and real-world common sense to battle demon possessions, demonic diseases, cursed limbs, and worse... this is some unique, and interesting storytelling that hits an avenue of comic storytelling that we don't see covered enough.

And, just 'cause we know how almost any new Image book with a lot of buzz behind it tends to blow up right off the bat, we'd recommend snagging your copy this week, or e-mailing us to reserve you a copy, because in terms of books that're going to be hot this summer, WITCH DOCTOR looks to be a big one.

And, it's a damn good read. :)

FLASHPOINT WEDNESDAY: FOUR MORE FLASHPOINT TIE-INS THAT ROCK OUR SOCKS THIS WEDNESDAY! FLASHPOINT HAL JORDAN #1, FLASHPOINT PROJECT SUPERMAN #1, FLASHPOINT GREEN ARROW INDUSTRIES #1, and best of all: FLASHPOINT THE CANTERBURY CRICKET #1

flashpointbadges

Have I mentioned how much we're loving FLASHPOINT? Okay, I think I have ,but I'm going to keep saying it because I cannot get enough of DC's big summer storyline. The tie-ins have been freakin' top notch, and I continue to be impressed by the level of quality and sense of fresh, and interesting storytelling in each one.

flashpointhaljordan1

FREE FLASHPOINT HAL JORDAN BADGE WITH PURCHASE

First off, we've got two of the biggest FLASHPOINT tie-ins this week, that you guys have been amped for. Lets talk about FLASHPOINT HAL JORDAN #1 first, which we know loads of you guys have been waiting for. This limited series explores the fate of one of the DCU's biggest icons, HAL JORDAN, considering that in the world of Flashpoint he's never received the Green Lantern ring, and Abin Sur is still the protector of Sector 2814. So, what happens in a world where Hal never receives his ring? That's exactly what is explored in the pages of FLASHPOINT HAL JORDAN #1, and we cannot wait to read this one.

And, of course, you get a nifty FLASHPOINT HAL JORDAN badge with purchase.

flashpointprojectsuperman1

FREE FLASHPOINT PROJECT SUPERMAN BADGE WITH PURCHASE

One of the most anticipated of all the FLASHPOINT tie-ins has been Project Superman, because lets face it: the absence of Big Blue in the World of FLASHPOINT is alarming, to say the least. And, with Gene Ha doing the art, we have a feeling DC is pulling out ALL the stops on this one. Like many of the FLASHPOINT solicits and previews, advance info on this one is cryptic; but what we can guess from the tag line is that in the world of Flashpoint.. when Superman's shuttle landed, he was taken into custody by a shadowy government agency, and experimented on in a lab for years and years. And, we can't wait to see just where the Flashpoint version of Mr. Lex Luthor fits in all this. :)

And, with purchase, you get a FREE FLASHPOINT PROJECT SUPERMAN badge.

flashpointgreenarrowindustries1

Next up, we've got the FLASHPOINT GREEN ARROW INDUSTRIES one-shot. Now, as big-time GREEN ARROW fans here at Third Eye, we're pretty excited about this one. It looks like the twist on ol' Oliver Queen in the world of FLASHPOINT is that he never quite learned from his war-profiteering ways, and is still in the weapons manufacturing business. Of course, judging by the cover here to FLASHPOINT GREEN ARROW, it looks like the character may have almost gone in more of a mercenary for hire direction, which is even more interesting. I personally can't wait to read this one.

flashpointcanterburycricket1

And, then finally, we're brought to what I've dubbed the sleeper hit of FLASHPOINT. The title may be ridiculous, but there is something about this one that is going to surprise the heck out of ALL of us... I'm telling you! :) Ever since the FLASHPOINT titles were announced, there's been a lot of curiosity surrounding the FLASHPOINT CANTERBURY CRICKET one-shot. The question is: WHO or WHAT is the CANTERBRUY CRICKET? Is this the FLASHPOINT version of the MARTIAN MANHUNTER (I think it may be!)? Is this the FLASHPOINT riff on AMBUSH BUG? One of the strangest, and most mysterious books tied into the FLASHPOINT event... we cannot wait to read this one on Wednesday.

MARVEL UNIVERSE vs. WOLVERINE #1 - The PREQUEL TO LAST YEAR'S SICKENINGLY AWESOME MARVEL UNIVERSE vs. the PUNISHER CANNIBAL MASSACRE EPIC ARRIVES THIS WEDNESDAY! A MUST-READ!

Missed Marvel U vs the Punisher? The TPB hits this week as well!

Imagine CROSSED meets the MARVEL U.

marveluvswolverine1

Dude! I am totally stoked about this one! Last year, one of the biggest sleeper hits we saw was the KICK-ASS What IF?-style story of MARVEL UNIVERSE VS. THE PUNISHER, which showed us a grim, I AM LEGEND-esque post-apocalyptic MARVEL UNIVERSE where a disease had turned nearly all of the Marvel U into cannibals, and Frank Castle was one of the lone survivors left, who spent his days hunting down the various characters, killing them in unique and interesting ways and lining their heads on pikes up and down the roads of New York City.

All I can say is: imagine cannibal Hulk getting shot through the eye with an arrow sporting Wolverine's claw as the blade, and that's how he gets taken down. Imagine THE THING holed up in the Baxter Building, wearing a necklace made of human hands. Yeah. It was an intense series.

And, now, the fine folks at Marvel Comics have smiled down upon us, and brought us MORE of this kick-ass alternate Marvel Universe where the most beloved heroes have been reduced into flesh-devouring monstrosities.

This new limited series explores the events that led up to the disastrous world we saw in MARVEL UNIVERSE VS. PUNISHER, and we're totally pumped to learn what caused the outbreak of the deadly plague to the beginnings of the giant war that scorched the surface of the Earth. Who were the first among the Marvel heroes to be infected with the dreadful disease that turned the Marvel Universe into a world that's filled with blood-thirsty, cannibalistic predators.

And, who's in the center of this melee? Who is the man that stands before the growing hordes, even before Frank Castle took up the crusade? One word: SNIKT.

DANGER GIRL / ARMY OF DARKNESS #2 - J.SCOTT CAMPBELL'S DANGER GIRL HAS RETURNED, AND WE'RE LOVING IT!

dangergirlvsarmy2

As children of the '80s and '90s, we grew up on the Cliffhanger Comics sensation of the late '90s. You know, stuff like BATTLE CHASERS, CRIMSON, and of course.. DANGER GIRL. So, when we saw that IDW was teaming up with Dynamite to deliver a brand new DANGER GIRL vs. ARMY OF DARKNESS crossover... we totally got stoked.

The artwork on the first issue of this one was top notch, and it's a blast seeing these fan-favorite characters back in action. Throwing ASH from EVIL DEAD and ARMY OF DARKNESS into the mix only makes things even more interesting too!

Want something that's totally action-packed, loaded with good art, pulpy bad guys, and the most kick-ass special ops team you've seen? Snag up DANGER GIRL this Wednesday.

Missed the first issue? We've got copies of DANGER GIRL vs ARMY OF DARKNESS #1 in stock to catch you up to this week's issue #2.

BUTCHER BAKER RIGHTEOUS MAKER #4 - IMAGE COMICS'S DARK, AND DISTURBING TAKE ON THE SUPERHERO GENRE CONTINUES.. IMAGINE IF THE COMEDIAN FROM WATCHMEN HAD HIS OWN SERIES: IT'D BE BUTCHER BAKER! TOTALLY OVER-THE-TOP, WE LOVE THIS BOOK!

butcherbaker4

It's been hard to keep track of all the kick-ass new Image titles coming out this year, but BUTCHER BAKER RIGHTEOUS MAKER still stands out as one of our biggest favorites. If you're a fan of series like THE BOYS, or even WATCHMEN and IRREDEEMABLE, then this is a book that needs to be on your pull list, 'cause it's THAT good.

What is BUTCHER BAKER? Butcher Baker is a dark, almost satirical look at the world of superheroes, as seen through the protagonist, BUTCHER BAKER. Butcher is a retired superhero agrees to go on one more mission at the behest of Jay Leno and Dick Cheney, a mission where he's been tasked with executing all of his former villains, all of whom have been locked away for many years in a prison facility for an unmentioned length of time.

The book is violent, sleazy, and clever as all get out. Butcher parties just as hard as he fights crime, and in his giant mack truck, quickly becomes a target for a few enemies that survived his attempt to wipe them all out at once. It's a fun book that doesn't require a whole lotta deep thought. Just pure, over-the-top gratuitous superhero mayhem. And, lets not forget Mike Huddleston's amazing, Bill Sienkwiecz by way of Ashley Wood artwork which really adds a vibrant dimension to the down and dirty world of BUTCHER BAKER.

We love BUTCHER BAKER, and you should too. :)

Missed 1-3? We've got copies of each in stock to get you caught up.

GREEN LANTERN EMERALD WARRIORS #11 - WAR OF THE GREEN LANTERNS CONCLUDES THIS WEDNESDAY WITH IT'S FINAL CHAPTER IN GREEN LANTERN EMERALD WARRIORS #11! GEOFF JOHNS HAS DONE IT AGAIN, DELIVERING ANOTHER GREEN LANTERN EPIC THAT'S BLOWN US AWAY! WANNA CATCH UP ON THIS STORYLINE? WE'VE GOT ALL THE ISSUES IN STOCK TO HOOK YOU UP.

glemeraldwarriors11

You know, I've said it time and time again, but Geoff Johns is the best thing that's happened to DC COMICS since, well, heck, since Grant Morrison on JLA a decade or two ago. :) Seriously, he's taken so many characters and breathed new life into them at DC, that he's literally rebuilt many aspects of the DCU in his vision.

None of this is more evident than what Johns has done with the GREEN LANTERN mythos. Ever since he kicked things off with GREEN LANTERN: REBIRTH, Johns has been on fire, adding building block after building block to the foundation of GL, and then unveiling one of the most dynamic, and compelling superhero books on the stands by the time we got to SINESTRO CORPS WAR. And, ever since that arc, each subsequent GREEN LANTERN story has been BIGGER than life.

Now, moving forward, we're in the midst of what has been one of the best GL stories yet. Heck, even in the shadow of BLACKEST NIGHT, this one stands out as a monumental tale. WAR OF THE GREEN LANTERNS is true blue, epic DC COMICS storytelling at it's finest, and I guarantee that years from now, people will look back on this run much like they do Alan Moore's short-lived work on GL, as well as other GL sagas like Emerald Dawn and Emerald Twilight.

Last month, in chapters 7,8, and 9, we saw Krona finally playing his cards in what can only be described as a true, surprise twist. We've also been seeing the development of Sinestro, who ever since Blackest Night, has been on a path that could lead to redemption for the fallen Lantern.

So far, so good, and while I'm trying to be careful not to give away any of the MAJOR surprises in the story, all I can say is that if you loved BLACKEST NIGHT, or if you've been enjoying Johns's other work on GL, then you need to be reading these books.

This Wednesday it all comes to a grand conclusion in the pages of GREEN LANTERN EMERALD WARRIORS #11, and with the talk of this storyline being a key transition into the upcoming new Lantern series coming in Fall, we can't wait to see what's in store.

We've got ALL the chapters of WAR OF THE GL in stock to catch you up, and below you can follow a link to check out our OFFICIAL THIRD EYE WAR OF THE GREEN LANTERNS Checklsit.

FF #5 - JONATHAN HICKMAN'S AMAZING RUN ON FF CONTINUES WITH FUTURE FOUNDATION #5 THIS WEDNESDAY! ONE OF THE BEST MARVEL BOOKS ON THE STANDS, IF YOU'RE NOT READING THIS, YOU NEED TO CHECK IT OUT!

MISSED ISSUES 1-4? WE'VE GOT EM IN STOCK TO CATCH YOU UP

ff5

Jonathan Hickman is another writer who has been slowly growing into one of our major favorites here at Third Eye. In fact, the similarities between he and Geoff Johns are pretty striking. Both are able to bring fresh, new spins to classic iconic characters, and tell big, bold superhero stories that don't feel dated, or cheesy. Both took characters that were once seen as antiquated or at the end of their life cycles, and breathed excitement and new life into them. And, just like Johns has built up an entire mythos that surrounds the GREEN LANTERN, so has Hickman with the FANTASTIC FOUR.

Sure, he might be the guy who killed Johnny Storm, but there's a lot more to Hickman's epic run on FF than meets the eye, and it's totally evident in the new FF series running in the aftermath of Human Torch's demise.

During Hickman's initial run on the series, before the FANTASTIC FOUR title ended, and restarted as just FF, he had kicked off a very exciting story about the War of the Four Cities. Now, after the mayhem, and disaster of the Johnny Storm arc and it's aftermath, we're moving back into the WAR OF FOUR CITIES at full force. And, I cannot wait.

This new arc, which really kicked off last month ins FF #4, shows us Mr. Fantastic assembling his most relentless enemies to help defend our universe from a war being waged by all of those somewhat evil to completely evil Reed Richardses from other dimensions. In the new issue, one of the Council of Reeds takes the fight to Atlantis, which is defended by Invisible Woman and Spider-man... and, along the way, a surprise guest joins the fray.

One of the best damn books on the stands from Marvel, if you're not into FF yet, YOU NEED TO BE. We've got all the back issues to catch you up, and if you want to go even further, we have all of the trades that led up to the death of Torch and the relaunch of the series.

BATMAN INCORPORATED #7 - GRANT MORRISON'S MIND-BENDING, GLOBE-TROTTING BATMAN INCORPORATED EPIC

batmanincorporated7

We're totally hooked on Morrison's killer BATMAN INC series, and after hearing some of the stuff that's going to spin out of this one and set up the upcoming DCU Relaunch.. we're totally pumped. Apparently some of the characters introduced throughout the pages of the BATMAN INC arc are going to be some of the major players in the BATMAN Universe going into the relaunched titles this Fall, and we think that's pretty awesome.

Last month, in BATMAN INC #6, Morrison did a killer job of addressing a lot of the questions that people had about the BATMAN INC concept. If you picked up the first few issues of BATMAN INC, but may not have kept up with it, you should definitely catch back up, because all was explained in issue #6. It reminded us a lot of the FINAL CRISIS/RIP Missing Chapters issues that clued us in on what happened between RIP and FINAL CRISIS. At the same time, Morrison has kept the fun, bigger-than-life tone of the series perfectly, and we're still loving this one. Loads of fun stuff in issue #6 are what's got us totally pumped about this week's #7, which promises to take the ball and keep running with it.

I'm going to say it again, Third Eye Faithful: BATMAN INC is probably one of my favorite Bat-Titles in ages, and if you're looking for just one Batman book to catch you up to speed on everything and anything concerning the Caped Crusader and his place in the DCU, then this is it.

Missed earlier chapters? We've got issues 1-6 of BATMAN INC in stock to catch you up to this week's BATMAN INC #7.

WALKING DEAD #86 - THE SECOND ISSUE OF THE NEWEST ARC OF WALKING DEAD ARRIVES THIS WEDNESDAY CONTINUING KIRKMAN'S ZOMBIE EPIC! ALWAYS A GREAT READ! CAUGHT UP TO TRADE VOL 14? SNAG A COPY OF ISSUE #85, AND #86 THIS WEEK TO HOP ONTO THE MONTHLY!

walkingdead86

You know, it's hard to do these write-ups about new issues of WALKING DEAD, because the less we say about what actually happens in the issues, the better. The book is so touchy when it comes to spoilers, and HOLY CRAP moments, that we'd hate to ruin any, and we really try to avoid the spoilers since so many of you read it in different formats (be it in the trade paperback, the hardcover, or the single issues).

But, it's WALKING DEAD, so we have to show it some love, you know? What we will say is this, if you've been following the series in trade paperback, and have been waiting to make the jump to the monthly issues, then now is your chance. We've got copies of WALKING DEAD #85 and #86 in stock and available, and that's ALL you need to catch up to the series on the singles. Just remember, the issues immediately following a trade always end up becoming difficult to come by a few months in, so if you're on the fence, grab these now while they're available.

As for WALKING DEAD, we love it. It's almost 7-8 years running now, and it has never once fallen out of our top 5 favorite reads of the month. That's a testament to the quality of a book, folks, and WALKING DEAD delivers month after month. If you have never read the series, do yourself a favor, and come on by and snag WALKING DEAD VOLUME 1 in trade paperback for just $9.99. We're so confident you'll love it that we're willing to give you your money back if you don't.

TRAPPED IN THE PAST, IRON MAN MUST SAVE THE WORLD FROM THE RETURN OF THE DARK PHOENIX IN IRON AGE #1 THIS WEDNESDAY

ironage1

When Marvel says they're telling a story which features the return of the DARK PHOENIX, we tend to pay attention, and THE IRON AGE is exactly that. The series reminds us a lot of stuff like AVENGERS FOREVER, which takes place in the continuity of the Marvel U, but outside of the current timeline, plucking various Avengers and Marvel U characters from different time periods and teaming them up in the face of a galactic threat.

After the events of IRON AGE ALPHA (in stock and available now), we saw that Tony Stark has been tasked with racing the clock to save the future from annihilation, and now, confronting his past self, who's still a major alcoholic, he realizes that his fellow Avengers don't buy his story one bit.

Who are the keys to saving Stark's future? Hank Pym, an Avenger in exile, and one of the Avenger's greatest enemies: ULTRON.

Imagine if you took the time-traveling quirkiness of DOCTOR WHO, mixed it with some big, bold Marvel storytelling, and ran with it, then you'd get IRON AGE.

If you missed IRON AGE ALPHA, don't worry, we've got copies in stock to get you hooked up.

Click here for a preview of IRON AGE #1

BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY #3 - THE OFFICIAL STORYLINE THAT BRIDGES THE FIRST ARKHAM ASYLUM VIDEO GAME AND THE UPCOMING ARKHAM CITY VIDEO GAME HITS THIS WEDNESDAY

arkhamcity3

We're big fans of the ARKHAM ASYLUM video game, and cannot wait for this fall's release of ARKHAM CITY. And, this is why we're totally head over heels for the ARKHAM CITY comic that DC's been putting out to bridge the gap in the storytelling between the two games. Having Paul Dini, co-creator of the now-classic BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES, on board as the writer of this one definitely helps make it a must-read.

Missed issues 1 and 2 of this one? We've got copies of both in stock to get you caught up to this week's issue #3.

VENOM #4 - RICK REMENDER and TONY MOORE'S VENOM ONGOING SERIES IS ONE OF THE BEST FREAKIN' MARVEL BOOKS ON THE STANDS! LOVING UNCANNY X-FORCE? THEN READ THIS BOOK!

venom4

Remender's VENOM ongoing series has been one of the most pleasant surprises of 2011. The all-star combo of he and WALKING DEAD artist TONY MOORE have made this book into one of our monthly Marvel must-reads, and we cannot get enough of this one.

The hook of having long-time Spider-man supporting cast character FLASH THOMPSON as the new VENOM, and working as a shadowy government agent is a huge draw for the series, and we're loving the direction the series it's heading. And, having Flash as VENOM is PERFECT. After losing his legs overseas in war, Thompson is down on his luck, and the military approaches him about something he's always dreamed of: the chance to be Spider-Man. Enter the recently repossessed VENOM symbiote, and there you have it: a government-funded Spider-man replacement that doesn't know a whole lot about being a hero, and is fueled by a brain-hungry symbiote. How can this not be awesome?

Tony Moore's artwork makes this series really sing, and is the perfect compliment to Remender's action-packed, dynamic style of storytelling. It was a bummer he didn't handle the art on #3, but it's great to see him back on issue #4.

And, with this fourth issue closing out the initial first arc of the new VENOM ongoing, we get to see something that's been brewing for a while: the first showdown between the new VENOM and the Amazing Spider-man.

Missed issues 1-3? We've got 'em in stock to catch you up.

Click here for a preview of VENOM #4

FEAR ITSELF: BLACK WIDOW #1 ONE-SHOT BY "FEAR ITSELF: THE DEEP" and "SIXTH GUN" writer CULLEN BUNN DELIVERS A NEW ANGLE ON FEAR ITSELF

fearitselfblackwidow1

Another FEAR ITSELF tie-in that looks really promising hits this week in the form of the FEAR ITSELF: BLACK WIDOW one-shot written by one of our favorite up-and-comers, CULLEN BUNN, the guy responsible for awesomeness such as SIXTH GUN, and most recently, FEAR ITSELF: THE DEEP.

Normally in big events, the tie-ins tend to drag mid-way through, but I gotta tell you: between FEAR ITSELF and FLASHPOINT, I've found myself enjoying many of the tie-ins just as much as I do the main series.

In this one-shot, Russia's deadliest assassin arrives in Paris, where the lingering sense of dread and fear has gripped the masses. In order to avert nuclear disaster, Black Widow must brave a city in chaos, face down a crack team of deadly mercs, and infiltrate a well-protected government facility. Should be easy, right?

An awesome read with killer artwork, and a solid story, this one makes a great addition to the FEAR ITSELF line-up of tie-ins.

Click here for a preview of FEAR ITSELF BLACK WIDOW #1

SUPER DINOSAUR #3 - "WALKING DEAD" and "INVINCIBLE" writer ROBERT KIRKMAN'S LATEST AND GREATEST CONTINUES WITH EVERYONE'S FAVORITE ROCKET LAUNCHER-TOTING T-REX

superdinosaur3

Dude, I LOVE SUPER DINOSAUR. I wasn't sure what to think when I first heard about Robert Kirkman's newest ongoing series, but after reading issue #1, and experiencing the unique comic experience that could only be: Super Dinosaur.

Super Dinosaur is presented as what we consider a true all-ages book. It's great for the young'ins, but there's enough humor, and solid storytelling in there that it's also just as much fun for us old heads as well. It's kinda like a really good Pixar movie, ya know?

The story centers around a boy and his best friend, who just happens to bea giant talking T-Rex that plays lots of video games, and rocks a jetpack, and rocket launcher.

It sounds totally ridiculous, and to be honest, it totally is, but that's the point. It's pure fun, as seen through the eyes of Robert Kirkman and artist Jason Howard, and with a strong dynamic, action-oriented plot to keep it moving forward, this book has got us hooked.

Not reading it yet? If you've dug Kirkman's other stuff like INVINCIBLE or WALKING DEAD, trust us, you'll love it. It's a totally different genre for Kirkman, but has all of his trademark knacks for high concept storytelling.

We've got issues 1 and 2 in stock to catch you up to this week's #3.

STAFF PICKS

STEVE: ULTIMATE SPIDERMAN #160 - I started working at a comic shop about 6-8 months after this series first began, so in a way, I grew up with this book from day one, followed it's ups, and it's downs, and I gotta say: Bendis did a fine job of closing the book on this character that defined an entire generation of comic fans.

TRISH: CATS ARE WEIRD by JEFFREY BROWN -What can I say? I love Jeffrey Brown's stuff and I love cats. It's too much.

TORMA: FLASHPOINT REVERSE FLASH #1 - It was hard picking a favorite amongst the FLASHPOINT tie-ins this week, but REVERSE FLASH was GREAT and made a major impact on the story.

TONY (PRINCE FREDERICK): BRIGHTEST DAY AFTERMATH SEARCH FOR SWAMP THING #1 - Awesome read! Not just an epilogue without a point, this one sets up perfectly for all the cool stuff coming down the pipeline with Swamp Thing, Constantine and more being brought into the DCU again.
