FOREVER EVIL #5 ARRIVES THIS WEDNESDAY, BRINGING US CLOSER TO THE CONCLUSION OF DC'S BIGGEST & BEST EVENT STORY SINCE "BLACKEST NIGHT!"
We've been loving the heck out of the direction DC's been heading with FOREVER EVIL, and cannot wait to see what goes down in this week's issue #5.
I mean, first off, let's just state the obvious: it's an entire mini-series starring some of the coolest super villains in the DC line-up, how can we not love it?
But, seriously, GEOFF JOHNS (AQUAMAN, BLACKEST NIGHT, etc) and DAVID FINCH (BATMAN THE DARK KNIGHT, ULTIMATUM) are delivering one hell of an incredible story here, and if you've been thinking about jumping into the DCU, then this is the perfect place to start.
In issue #5, with everything to lose, Lex Luthor and his Injustice League raid the stronghold of the Crime Syndicate with consequences so devastating, the DC Universe will never be the same.
What's the FOREVER EVIL arc all about? As the first line-wide crossover since the NEW 52 began, FOREVER EVIL shows us a world where the three main JUSTICE LEAGUE teams (JL, JL Dark, and JLA) are thought dead, and the Crime Syndicate (an evil version of the Justice League from Earth-3) have come to the DCU to take over the world, and recruit many 2nd and 3rd tier villains into their cause.
However, not everyone goes along -- and several major villains resist the Crime Syndicate and join Lex Luthor to form an INJUSTICE LEAGUE to take down the Crime Syndicate.
We're loving the series so far, and with only 3 more issues to go -- we cannot wait to see how it wraps up.
