Man, the MARVEL NOW stuff has been really kicking butt, and the hits aren't slowing down any time soon, as another incredible new series launches this week with the brand new SHE-HULK from rising star writer CHARLES SOULE!
Charles has been wowing us with his work on series like LETTER 44, RED LANTERNS, SUPERMAN WONDER WOMAN, and SWAMP THING, so when we saw he was going to be bringing JENNIFER WALTER back into the spotlight -- we knew it was a perfect fit.
And, holy crap: Javier Pulido's artwork is so freakin' good. Pure pop art genius, if you're a fan of the artwork seen in some issues of HAWKEYE, as well as styles similar to what's been done recently with FF & DAREDEVIL, you'll love Pulido's take here on She-Hulk.
In this brand new series, Jennifer is trying to get back into the field of law, and begin a new practice.
Sure, she can knock out just about anyone in the Marvel Universe, but can she do it while juggling a full caseload?
One of the major themes explored within this story, is how does She-Hulk juggle duking it out with giant robots, and irradiated monsters while handling her day to day responsibilities?
We love the very human take Charles brings to the character, and are super excited for this one.

BATMAN #28 -- A SPECIAL PRELUDE TO BATMAN: ETERNAL (the major BATMAN story arc beginning later this year) in this ZERO YEAR: INTERLUDE issue
Okay, Third Eye Faithful, let me start off by stating the obvious: Scott Snyder & Greg Capullo's BATMAN is pure magic, plain and simple, and nearly every single issue has been a dynamite, knock-down, drag-out must-read book.
So, with that being said: you know the drill -- if you're still not reading BATMAN, we need to change that. Whether you're jumping on with BATMAN #21 and starting with ZERO YEAR, or catching up from the very beginning with the BATMAN: COURT OF OWLS graphic novel (Collecting 1-7), we cannot recommend this series enough.
Now, moving ahead: BATMAN #28 - HOLY CRAP. Okay, we can't say much here, because it's got some surprises, but what we will say is this: it's a special interlude that's set six months in the future of the current continuity -- and it's a very special prelude to the colossal new BATMAN: ETERNAL event that's going to begin later this year.
And...... well, we'll shut up now. :)
But, trust us: this is one of the most exciting issues of the title since BATMAN #13 started off DEATH OF THE FAMILY.
