It's gonna be red vs. red, as these two crimson-clad madmen go head to head, and you just know the blood is going to spray freely with characters like Deadpool and Carnage clashing.

It's good crazy vs. bad crazy, once and for all, and folks, we're totally amped to see how this one plays out.

HOT ON THE HEELS OF SUPERMAN WONDER WOMAN #6 COMES THE BIGGEST SUPERMAN STORY WE'VE SEEN SINCE NEW 52 BEGAN... SUPERMAN: DOOMED kicks off with a special PRELUDE in ACTION COMICS #30 this Wednesday!
Folks, we know many of you guys, after being turned onto Charles Soule's incredible SUPERMAN WONDER WOMAN story with that huge issue #6 a few weeks ago, are totally amped for WHAT'S NEXT, right?

Well, here it is... kicking off in this week's ACTION COMICS #30, we get to see Doomsday make his huge New 52 debut, and folks: we cannot wait.

While it remains unclear if the DEATH OF SUPERMAN arc still remains as it was in the original series in the NEW 52, what we do know is that DOOMSDAY has never looked this cool before... ever. Seriously: this Doomsday is brutal.

In last month's SUPERMAN WONDER WOMAN #6, the big Faora & Zod arc hit it's peak, as Superman and Wonder Woman literally split an atom and cause a nuclear explosion, in an attempt to stop Zod's forces from storming through the Phantom Zone and into our world.

However: a dormant Doomsday has crossed over from the Phantom Zone, and this Doomsday is more vicious, more ruthless, than anything we've ever seen.

If you've been following SUPERMAN WONDER WOMAN (As you should, it's amazing!) and liking what Charles Soule has been doing in that title -- then we cannot recommend hopping on the DOOMED crossover with it's official prelude in this week's ACTION COMICS #30.

It all kicks off here... and, our biggest question is this: will this lead to a similar fate as Superman once met before? Could we see the Man of Steel bite the dust again, or will his reintroduction to Doomsday be a lot different this time through?

Wanna get some background on all this? We've got issues 1-6 of SUPERMAN WONDER WOMAN in stock now to get you up to speed on just what sparked everything!

PURE ZOMBIE MAYHEM SET AGAINST THE BACKDROP OF THE VIETNAM WAR ERUPTS IN '68: RULE OF WAR #1 THIS WEDNESDAY
Image Comics puts out some pretty gnarly stuff, and the stand-alone zombie horror sagas that have ran through their '68 series have always kept us hooked.

Now, with a new-reader friendly jumping on point, and a brand new series, '68 returns, and we couldn't be more pumped.

In '68 RULE OF WAR #1, a doom-shadowed Cambodia is infested with the living dead, CIA Special Agent Declan Rule and his canine companion Nero are stalking a human monster, a neurosurgeon bent on carrying out grisly experiments that turn Prisoners of War into vicious instruments of war.

In Vietnam, Private Kuen Yam and his ragtag band of survivors battle their way across a murderous no-man's-land in a desperate search for a ticket to the skies.

The war is over, but the battle for humanity's survival has just begun.

Courage will be tested, sanity will be pushed to the breaking point, and the rules of war.... will be broken!

What has always made the '68 comics a real treat is the gorgeous art, and Jeff Zornow does zombies right, folks, trust us.

Pick up '68 RULE OF WAR #1 and give it a shot!

RICK REMENDER, writer of DEADLY CLASS, continues to impress with BLACK SCIENCE #5 this Wednesday
If H.R Giger directed the TV series COSMOS... it'd be BLACK SCIENCE.
We are huge fans of writer Rick Remender, and the excellent work he's done on books like FEAR AGENT, DEADLY CLASS, and UNCANNY X-FORCE, so it should be no surprise that BLACK SCIENCE is a big-time Third Eye favorite!

In issue #5, Grant discovers the truth about the Pillar's sabotage, tearing his team apart just as they are launched into a dimension of mad gravity and violent monkey ghosts!

How do you survive insanity when you can't trust anyone around you?

That's the question that Grant finds himself faced with.

What's BLACK SCIENCE all about?  Anarchist scientist Grant McKay has done the impossible. Using the Pillar, he has punched a hole through the barriers between dimensions, allowing travel to all possible universe.

Problem is: Grant and his team are trapped in the folds of infinity, the Pillar sending them carrying through a million universes of unimaginable adventure, sanity-flaying danger, and no way home!

Folks: we love this one! Remender kills it, and artist Matteo Scalera is top notch here.

A SPECIAL FUTURE'S END PRELUDE IN AQUAMAN AND THE OTHERS #1 DEBUTS THIS WEDNESDAY, DELIVERING A FANTASTIC NEW COMPANION SERIES TO THE FLAGSHIP AQUAMAN TITLE!
AQUAMAN has been one of the most consistently kick-ass, and top notch DC New 52 titles since it's debut, and we gotta say: if any character has room for a second book, it's the King of the Seas.

Now, the fact that one of our favorite characters of the DCU is getting a second ongoing series, is reason enough to celebrate, but this issue has other significance as well.

And, what's that you may ask?

GARTH ENNIS, writer of PREACHER, CROSSED, ROVER RED CHARLIE, THE BOYS, PUNISHER MAX & more, DEBUTS THE MOST HORRIFYING SCI-FI STORY YOU'VE EVER READ WITH CALIBAN #1 THIS WEDNESDAY!
Third Eye Faithful, you know us. We're a buncha horror movie heads here at the shop, and we LOVE a good sci-fi / horror hybrid ala EVENT HORIZON, ALIENS and John Carpenter's THE THING.

By now, many of you also know that we are HUGE fans of the writer GARTH ENNIS, who has wowed us with epics like PREACHER, THE BOYS, and an incredible run on PUNISHER MAX.

So, when we saw that Ennis would be working with AVATAR PRESS, the publisher of CROSSED & NEONOMICON, to deliver something truly frightening and downright alien... we knew we had to give it some love.

In CALIBAN, master storyteller Garth Ennis delivers a new haunting epic of science fiction-charged horror.

The crew of the Caliban travels hyperspace on nothing more than a routine trip for the giant vessel.

Just human beings that have been inside a bit too long, confident of no other life in the Galaxy, and all the vastness of space to remind them how far they are from home.

But, when an impossible accident suddenly causes the Caliban to slam into an abandoned alien ship, a nightmare in space begins to unfold.

Ennis delivers his unique brand of flawed characters, spot on dialog, and trademark flare for the unexpected in a new series in the vein of ALIEN.

This is the beginning of the end for the crew of the Caliban.

Folks: this is going to be awesome! Check it out this week at Third Eye!

IT'S OLDBOY MEETS BREAKING BAD IN NEW IMAGE SERIES "THE FIELD", DEBUTING THIS WEDNESDAY FROM IMAGE COMICS!
Meet creators ED BRISSON (SHELTERED) & SIMON ROY (PROPHET) at Third Eye on Saturday 6/21!
We're super pumped for this new IMAGE series, which kicks off this week at Third Eye, bringing together two of the fastest rising stars in Image's line-up: SHELTERED writer ED BRISSON and PROPHET artist SIMON ROY.

We totally dig both these guys work, and to have them working together on one book is HUGE.

So, what's THE FIELD all about? A man wakes in a field wearing nothing but his underwear. He's got no idea who he is or how he got there. His only connection to the outside world is a cell phone on which he receives mysterious texts warning him of impending danger.

Danger like Christian, an ex-bible salesman in the middle of a crime-spree fueled by meth, murder, and keeping this nameless and past less man near by.

The first issue was uber creepy, while super fast paced at the same time, delivering a really exciting debut.

Snag yourself a copy this week at Third Eye, and hang onto it, so you can get it signed in June at our big signing with SIMON ROY & ED BRISSON!

Folks: imagine if Luke Skywalker pulled a DARK KNIGHT RETURNS,and came back to save the day -- that's the best way to sum up STARLIGHT. We're loving what we've read so far, and cannot wait for this week's issue #2.

He remembers nothing -- not who he got here, now here here is -- not even his own name.

But, the goons knocking down his door sure do, and it's going to take every single move in Sam's forgotten repertoire to outrun and outsmart the gang war he's just stumbled into.

VERTIGO'S BRAND NEW SERIES, HINTERKIND, ARRIVES IN GRAPHIC NOVEL THIS WEDNESDAY FOR ONLY $9.99 WITH HINTERKIND VOLUME 1 THE WAKING WORLD TPB, COLLECTING 1-6
Vertigo has put out some great books this past year, and one of our favorites is the new series HINTERKIND, which has a very FABLES-esque feel to it.

In a post-apocalyptic world where humans have been pushed to the edge of extinction by the creatures of fantasy an fables, the Hinterkind tells the story of one young woman's quest to fulfill her destiny and put the world right again.

Fifty seven years after an unspecified biological event has all but wiped out the human race, a green hand has moved over the face of the Earth.

Leaf, root, and shoot have steadfastly smothered the works of man, remorselessly grinding the concrete, glass and steel back into the minerals from whence they came.

Mother Nature is reclaiming what's rightfully hers -- but she's not the only one.

The Hinterkind have returned. They come from hiding places in the lost corners of the world: Centaurs, Satyrs, Elves, Dwarves, Ogres, Trolls, Werewolves, Vampires..

And, they're pissed at humanity as a whole.

After millennia of being hunted to near extinction through fear and ignorance, they've returned from the great forests and deserts, and mankind are the ones who are finding it necessary to hide.

KICK-ASS stuff, folks -- get it for only $9.99 this week at Third Eye!
