In other words, he's got an incredible eye for what makes a great story.
And, Stephenson, as we've seen with his past work on NOWHERE MEN, is a pretty damn amazing comic book storyteller himself.

The GARBAGE PAIL KIDS come to comics with the GARBAGE PAIL KIDS COMIC BOOK PUKE-TACULAR #1 THIS WEDNESDAY!
So, I was an '80s kid, and as an '80s kid, I had a CRAP-TON of Garbage Pail Kids, Dinosaurs Attack, and Mars Attacks trading cards that I freakin' adored.
So, when I saw that those paragons of stale bubblegum and disgustingly awesome card art were coming to comics -- I knew I had to give it a shout-out!
Remember mullets and teased bangs? Stonewashed denim jackets and jeans? Well, OK, so those weren't the best parts of the '80s, but I figure we already make references to the cooler parts of the '80s enough here at Third Eye. :)

What's OUTCAST all about? Kyle Barnes has been plagued by demonic possession all his life, and now.. he needs answers!
Unfortunately, what he uncovers along the way could bring about the end of life on Earth as we know it!
This terrifying take on the supernatural is every bit as awesome as Kirkman's work on series like INVINCIBLE and WALKING DEAD, and we highly recommend it.
