IMAGE DELIVERS AN EXCITING NEW SCI-FI EPIC WITH EGOS #1 -- A MUST FOR FANS OF PLANETOID, PROPHET & BIG SCI-FI SUPERHERO EPICS LIKE "THE AUTHORITY"
When we saw the art on this twisted far-future epic... we knew we had to show it some Third Eye love, and folks, when we actually sat down and read it: we were floored.
This was a great first issue, and we're really pumped to see where the series heads.
In EGOS, an aging hero risks everything to rebuild his former team -- but to do so, he must cross a line with his wife that cannot be uncrossed.
In EGOS, which stands for Earth/Galactic Operatives, we meet an elite team of powerful heroes who's job is to defend the galaxy.
The team disbanded and mostly stepped out of the spotlight, but when an old enemy returns to wreak havoc, former team leader Deuce must reassemble a new team of EGOs to fight back.
The artwork on EGOs really makes the book pop, as it gives it a very dystopian feel; and is very reminiscent of MOEBIUS and other Eurocomics.
We highly recommend snagging a copy of EGOs this Wednesday and giving it a shot!

BLACK DYNAMITE #1 ARRIVES THIS WEDNESDAY, BRINGING THE BADDEST KUNG-FU CAT TO COMICS!

We're a huge fan of both the BLACK DYNAMITE movie, as well as the ADULT SWIM series, so when we saw IDW was going to be bringing Black Dynamite and his crew to comics -- we knew we had to hook it up with a special THIRD EYE variant of issue #1.
Illustrated by AFRODESIAC & SUPERMAG's JIM RUGG, who also did the totally killer '70s style WALKING DEAD Ghost variant a couple years ago -- our Third Eye variant pays homage to the movies that inspired BLACK DYNAMITE, and has a very cool retro look to it.

INJUSTICE: YEAR TWO #1 ARRIVES THIS WEDNESDAY, CONTINUING ONE OF THE BEST SLEEPER HITS OF 2013!
JUMP ON BOARD THIS AWESOME SERIES WITH THIS NEW SEASON!
Last year, Third Eye Faithful, rising star DC Comics writing Tom Taylor proved that video game tie-in comics could really deliver something more to the table than just a prequel or sequel to the game.
Using the template set forth by the plot of the game, Taylor has built an entire new Elseworlds continuity for DC to keep on exploring, and we're loving every second of it.
How'd it start? Well, so, check it: Joker kills Lois Lane, and a whole bunch of other bad stuff happens that pushes SUPERMAN over the edge -- so, he literally puts his hand through the Joker's chest cavity, and recruits various DCU Heroes to his new world order of ZERO TOLERANCE for bad guys.
Of course, this is the day Batman always feared would come -- a day when the most powerful hero in the DCU would decide to turn Earth into a police state -- and so, he recruits his own renegade band of heroes to defy Supes.
Now, after the death of one of their own has divided Earth's protectors as hero turns against hero, the iron grip of the Man of Steel tightens.
And, at the edge of the galaxy.... fear approaches. :)
Folks: INJUSTICE is such a great comic series, we highly recommend snagging the first series (available both in single issues of 1-12, or the graphic novel) and get on board.
